Thad, Cinder, Steve, Davey star approach the tavern. It is surrounded by guards that are performing some sort of raid, all the patrons have been kicked out
Steve disguises himself as Thad again, he is afraid of the guards recognizing him
Thad and Thad (Steve) begin to chant “BOOZE BOOZE BOOZE BOOZE” and try to break through the guard line, drawing a lot of attention. Dave slips into the alleyway and makes it unnoticed to the backdoor into the basement. Dave makes his way inside and tells Talia and The Twank that they need to leave, they take Elis with them. The 4 of them (Elis barely conscious carried by the Twank) make their way back into the alleyway.
They make it the end of the alleyway and are spotted by a guard. The guard starts to confront us, but in the end the psychological torture holds and Elis vouches for Talia’s ruse of being a real estate agent.
Thad forces his way into the tavern and grabs a drink from the bar, but the guards begin attacking him. The guards however are somehow completely unable to do basically anything to Thad. Thad picks up the guard that knocked a drink out of his hands, and throws the him at another guard. Thad very nearly makes it out of the Tavern without taking a serious hit, but at the last second a guard successfully tackles and handcuffs him. The guards begin to lead him out of the building and through the crowd.
Dave sees what is happening and casts fog cloud on the entire area, and uses his blind-sight to approach Thad. In the confusion Dave manages to shove one of the guards off of Thad. Dave attempts to use flame blade to break the cuffs, but misses and hits Thad. Dave succeeds on the second attempt and frees Thad’s arms, allowing to shove the other guards off of him. Dave is able to round up everyone and they make their escape, however they forget to take Elis with them.
We all regroup in a different tavern. Elis being left behind is a pretty big problem since Talia did some pretty rough stuff to him, and Elis has seen all of us. We agree we might need to leave town but we are hesitant to leave since we were about to have a good thing going with the guild. We decide to take a rest and then decide what to do in the morning
