Big fan of animals, kicked out of druid enclave for hanging out with the animals instead of studying the religious and arcane aspects of Druid-ship. Shortly after that he was abducted by The Black Hand and used as a template or source in a ritual that resulted in the creation of Davestar. Davey was chosen as the template for his proficiency with wild shape, the ritual also ended up giving him blindsight.
